Please Pray

I don't really know how many people out there read my blog, especially since I'm not writing very often. But today I'd like to put out a huge prayer request. There has been some extremely disturbing and heartbreaking news in the adoption world here in Canada. Just a note, this is not our agency. Ours is CAFAC. Imagine is the name of Kids Link an adoption agency in Ontario that as of this week has claimed bankruptcy. Not only are 400 families(in various stages of the adoption process) affected in Canada, but countless children and babies are now faced with very uncertain futures. Parents whose children have passed court and are legally the guardians of their children are even flying out to Ethiopia this week to be with them. There are transition homes where these children are living awaiting court dates and travel times. Children here have been matched with Canadian parents and are waiting for them to come and take them home. These transition homes are funded by the Kids Link agency, so that mean staff are not being paid, and there are not funds to purchase food and supplies. Please pray for these families. Please pray especially for these precious children who yet again are up against such odds.
