Once again I have great news. On Friday we discovered that Stan's parents do indeed have a copy of his original birth certificate. We both had no idea. So his dad promptly got it for us. So, with this new development, I emailed CAFAC and this morning they gave us a call. They said that a proof of birth was needed (now secured) and that only one parent needs proof of Canadian Citizenship. This means that now we are free to proceed! woohoo! Think I've said that about 20 times since Friday!
Such a gift. We were discouraged by a number of unrelated things this past week and now were blessed with this. Wonderful.
